Hong Kong

Our top export destination in terms of both volume and value. We bring our brewers to Hong Kong and collaborate with importers on various initiatives, including sales visits to restaurants and hosting manufacturer dinners.

Taiwan

Taiwan boasts many enthusiastic sake fans. We hold sake seminars and makers’ dinners in partnership with local importers & breweries, and provide regular online staff training for importers.

Singapore

We fully supported the entry of a long-established wine importer in Singapore into the Japanese sake business. We helped them select the sake to handle and accompanied them on a cross-country tour of Japan to visit various breweries.

Malaysia

In rapidly developing Malaysia, we are collaborating with five-star hotels in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and Michelin-starred chefs to develop original Japanese sake.

Germany

We were in charge of export operations for the Overseas Market Development Support Project, organized by the Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry. As part of this initiative, we supported Japanese sake and shochu breweries from across Japan in showcasing their products at Bar Convent Berlin, the largest bar and restaurant industry trade show in Europe.

Sweden

We held a seminar event at the prestigious Restaurant Academy, focusing on sake and Scandinavian cuisine pairings. Sören Polonius, a two-time Swedish Sommelier Competition winner, was invited as a lecturer. The event attracted top local restaurant chefs, sommeliers, and opinion leaders in the gastronomy world.

Austria

Local importers host sake tastings at the Japanese Embassy in Vienna, an event well received by local buyers and restaurateurs, resulting in numerous business transactions. We also arrange sake brewery tours for importers visiting Japan.

France

We traveled to France to support the inaugural Kura Master, a Japanese sake contest held for French participants. Additionally, for three consecutive years, we have provided Japanese sake at the Bastille Day Reception hosted by the Embassy of France in Japan, where we also conducted the kagami-biraki sake barrel ceremony during the toast.

Luxembourg

We provided Japanese sake for the Emperor’s Birthday Reception held at the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg. Additionally, we were responsible for exporting products from Ishikawa Prefecture to support a fair promoting the region’s recovery, as well as serving as the point of contact on the Japanese side for the Luxembourg Sake Challenge.

Canada

In Ontario, home to Canada’s largest city, Toronto, we have started working with a startup importer who has broken away from the traditional system that only allowed sales in government-operated stores (at room temperature). They now supply high-quality Japanese sake, stored under refrigeration, to select restaurants. Every year, they also organize guided tours to Japanese breweries.

U.A.E

We have partnered with Ryuji Hamada, Head Sake Sommelier at Zuma Dubai and a holder of the prestigious “Sake Samurai” title, to develop Zuma’s private brand sake, “ONE,” which boasts an extraordinary 1% polishing ratio. Additionally, we have exported premium sake, priced at over ¥1,000,000 (100,000 JPY) in Japan, to Bvlgari Hotel, striving to elevate the global recognition of Japanese sake to rival that of wine.
